Recertification
Maintaining your ADR Council certification is essential to demonstrate ongoing expertise and commitment in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The ADR Council's recertification process ensures that certified practitioners remain current with evolving practices and continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
Recertification Cycle
The ADR Council requires recertification every three years to maintain the validity of your credential. This cycle encourages continuous professional development and ensures that practitioners stay abreast of advancements in ADR methodologies.
Your certification will expire at the end of the 3rd year quarter in which your initial exam was successfully completed.
Recertification Example
Exam successfully completed on May 13, 2025
Must complete recertification by June 30, 2028
If recertification has not been completed by that date, the certification will expire effective May 12, 2028.
Recertification Requirements
To successfully recertify, credential holders must fulfill the following criteria within the three-year recertification period:
Continuing Education: Complete a minimum of 60 hours of continuing education related to ADR practices. This can include workshops, seminars, webinars, and relevant coursework.
Professional Experience: Demonstrate active engagement in ADR activities, such as mediations, arbitrations, or conflict coaching, totaling at least 30 hours.ADR Register (Global Network Group)
